Today we received a surprise package from Uncle Tom and Aunt Paige's family out in Ohio. (Thank you, muchly!) The outfits contained in said package were adorable and plentiful, so why not take pictures! Here's Faye enjoying the newest additions to her wardrobe:

Two Month Check-up
Faye had her 2 month appointment today. She officially weighs 12 pounds and is 23.25 inches long. Her size/weight measurements at birth put her in the 20th percentile, now she is ranked in the 80th percentile for her age. Mind equals blown. My baby's grown so much!
Faye also received her first round of vaccinations. It was a sad experience for both the baby and the mommy, but everybody survived.

Androidify
Alan has an app on his Android in which you can create little Android Avatars! Here's what we've come up with to represent our family:

Just another day
Well I stole several photos of Faye from Alan's Android and feel like a few of the more recent photos. This is Faye in her swing, which is a hand-me-down that's in good shape, but has no adapter. As such, Alan and I take turns giving Faye a push and trying to accomplish something between each push. Faye is kind enough to let us know when the swing has stopped moving and she needs another push.
Here Faye is helping Alan transfer files from Grandma Great's desktop computer onto her laptop. She is a natural with technology!

Two Months
Faye is already two months old! She has grown so much. I hold up outfits that look huge in my mind's eye, yet they fit Faye perfectly. As of Monday, September 12th, Faye weighed 11.53 pounds (or 5.6 Kg, if you prefer metric units). We heard her giggle/laugh for the first time this week- I smiled for an hour or two afterword. It was adorable.
Faye spent her 2 month birthday along the Top of Utah Marathon course cheering Grandma Lisa and Aunt Annette on. The weather was quite wet, pouring rain for a good portion of the day, and cold. The sheriffs directing runners at mile 14 insisted I sit with Faye in the back of the police car. I'm so glad I accepted this offer since the clouds let down buckets of rain moments after I shut the door.
Lisa and Annette ran their hardest and finished the race. Congrats to the two of you!

Blessing Day
We blessed Faye today! I now feel like I'm officially a mom. Alan did a wonderful job with the blessing. Faye's blessing gown was made by her Grandma Sharon; it turned out beautifully. She looked like a little angel. Faye slept through the blessing and the luncheon following- what a sweety.
Grandma Lisa held yet another photoshoot with Faye:

I'm so glad mom caught Faye making this expression. Alan and I are over come with fits of giggles whenever she makes it.
Thanks to all who came to support our family!
